Light house-keeping/laundry-

dusting, vacuuming, mopping and dishes as well as laundry

Respite Care- day or short term week and up to three weeks at vacation rental setting with 24 hour supervision and meals included. Call to request pricing

Meal preparation- open jars, cut or slice food and prepare it for individual to cook or microwave.  All staff will have specific training in hand hygeine and food handling safety.

Safety Checks- daily physical/phone checks on the individuals to ensure they are safe. or RN visit

Medication Cues-reminders to take medication and cues/assistance with opening packages from blister packs or med. bottles, assistance with taking blood glucose levels if needed or basic medication such as eye medication or ointments which would be delegated to PSW staff, if medication administration required by RN, regulated staff would administer it.

RN Monthly vital Check-Registered staff will take individual's vitals-blood pressure, pulse, weight, height, auscultate lungs, blood suger, assess feet and general health and liaise with doctor if required (catching health issues early and getting treatment will reduce acute visits to hospital and 911 calls).

Foot/Nail Care-performed by  registered staff, including diabetic toe nail cutting once per six weeks per best practice guidelines (RNAO  

  Falls Prevention Exercises-appropriate strength training for this demographic in order to prevent falls which could result in hip fractures and possible death.

Health Promotion/Illness Prevention Presentations-monthly presentations by staff or invited professional guests to speak on various health related subjects pertinent to this population

Pet Care Assistance/Dog Walking-it is well known that seniors do better when they own a pet, those that own a pet may require assistance with changing kitty litter, walking their dog, or taking their pet to a vet appt.  Some would just like to have a friendly visit from a pet which volunteers from the Humane Society can bring along.

grocery and Other Shopping- Grocery shopping as well as other shopping will be provided.  Generally 2xmonth for the fee that is included if one chooses to bundle their services

Skyping-This live video visit with family and loved ones from afar is fantastic and facilitates the feeling of family and reduces isolation.  Keeping in touch with family live on video makes any day much more enjoyable.  This will be offered singularly as a service or when bundling services.

Patient Advocate-if individual's family are not available or individual does not have family, they can opt for an advocate.  An RN will accompany them to dr. appointments or in hospital if reguired. 

Environmental Safety Check-Health and Safety certified staff will come assess your living area to ensure personal safety including dangers of throw rugs, non skid tub mats, grab bars where needed, lighting-specifically at night where most falls occur etc.  The staff may suggest where to purchase grab bars or assistive devices such as motin lights during night.  these checks are done on a monthly basis. Infection prevention nurse also available

Respite Care-based on need, our staff have experience and will have ongoing training with dementia /Alzheimers care. Live in care opportunities also available.

Welcome Home Medication Reconciliation and Clarification-after hospitalization and discharge, a registered staff member will perform a visit to ensure all meds have arrived and explained to consumer how to take them providing detailed and written if necessary instructions and also providing teaching and information regarding any dirctions sent home from the hospital immediately on arrival home until homecare staff have been scheduled to come in.

RN/RPN- skilled visits available for wound care, intravenous, injections , G-tubes and other infusion devices
